The QUT Business School through the Cowled Foundation is pleased to offer the Laurie Cowled Women in Leadership Scholarship for 2020. This is a unique professional development opportunity designed to foster the education of women from rural and regional Australia to make an outstanding difference, through their leadership, to the future of Australia.

Eligibility

• be an Australian citizen
• be from a rural or regional background, work in rural or regional Australia, or your work contributes to the rural or regional sectors
• be a QUT Business School graduate
• have 10 or more years' experience working in business
• be currently working as a senior officer, executive, business unit leader, or business owner at a private company, public company, or nonprofit organisation
• meet the entry requirements to attend the international women's leadership event of your choice, and be accepted into the event.

You receive

The scholarship covers costs associated with airfares, tuition fees and travel insurance to attend an international leadership experience up to a maximum value of AUD15,000. This scholarship is conditional on the recipient meeting the entry requirements and being offered a place at their selected leadership event.
