In any organisation, a diverse board is more effective. Different life experience and educational backgrounds open the door to unique viewpoints and fresh ideas.
Many organisations find themselves with boards filled with similar skill-sets and opinions; the result being stagnant conversation and stifled innovation.
Through Diversity, we aim to help charities understand the types of people who would best contribute to their organisation at board level. We allocate a score based on a number of measures, including background, age and community interests.
The resulting score can assist in recognising diversity shortfalls and building a more robust and effective board.
